Knowledgeable Staff – Our staff has been trained to follow the National Wood Flooring Association Installation and Sales Standards. No matter which sales associate, owner or installer you speak to, we will all give you the same answer. We have access to technical information that we can share with our valued clientele to help them make informed decisions.
Our Own Installers – This is a big point. Many flooring shops sell “Materials Only” and price the labor out separately. They may say they warranty the labor but the consumer ends up paying the installer directly, with no contract or warranty provided. Touchwood Flooring Ltd. warranties all materials and labor in writing. We pay all liability insurance and WCB. We schedule the project and all service work. We visit jobsites and meet with our crews biweekly to make sure our standards are being upheld.
A Beautiful, Upscale Showroom – Our showroom is a large 1500 sq.ft. facility that features Vintage Prefinished Hardwood, Tarkett Wood, Upo Engineered Floating Floors, Eurocork and Tarkett Laminates, and unfinished hard and soft woods. Consumers can expect to see different species, grades, widths and gloss levels down on the floor. We show custom curved wood transitions, solid and strip flooring treads, custom borders and medallions. As well, clients will have access to our photo library. This comfortable, informative setting assists the client in making an informed decision.
Additional Literature – Often overwhelming for the consumer, the selection available is extensive. It is hard to digest all the choices and characteristics of the wood. Touchwood has produced additional literature for their clients to take with them, to read in the comfort of their own homes.
Detailed Estimating – Our estimates give a breakdown of materials and labor needed to complete the project. We itemize what each item costs, the amount of square footage needed and the jobsite preparation required. We also outline our warranty program.
Our Own Mill Shop – Wood flooring comes straight and with limited transition pieces. Touchwood Flooring can manufacturer custom curves, borders, medallions, solid treads or stair caps to accent your new hardwood décor.
Job Site Preparation Checklist – In hopes that there are no surprises when our crew arrives, Touchwood has designed a checklist outlining what has to be done to prepare for the construction about to take place in your home. If the client has any questions regarding the jobsite preparation, they can all be answered prior to starting the job.
Customer Survey – As Touchwood Flooring grows we want to ensure that our standards of service are not forgotten. We have implemented leaving a self-addressed survey on every jobsite and we encourage our customers to fill it out and send it back. These surveys do more than let us know where we can improve; they also give our staff well-deserved recognition when a job is well-done. 99% of customers surveyed would refer Touchwood Flooring to others!
